Unfortunately, my experience working with Brandon was quite disappointing. From the outset, there were significant issues with reliability and communication. He did not attend the initial kickoff meeting and required multiple follow-ups to engage. This pattern persisted throughout the engagement — missing scheduled meetings, canceling after the scheduled time, and providing no notice or updates in advance.
Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of initiative and accountability. We provided a comprehensive step-by-step handbook to support his work, yet it appeared not to have been reviewed or followed when action items were assigned. There was little evidence of commitment to the role, and the work ethic and attitude necessary for success in a professional setting were lacking.
While I understand that students may still be developing these skills, the level of disengagement and lack of responsibility made the experience particularly frustrating.
