The opportunity to work with Venture for Canada students was something that we, Housing Ontario University Student Equitably (HOUSE Ontario), couldn't pass up – and we are truly glad we didn't! All five (%) intrapreneurs brought something truly unique to the table. From creative writing skills, to organizational feedback, to the development of new partnerships, VFC intrapreneurs brought more than we had expected to the table. And a huge shoutout to Carey Jiang, Mathew Jarvis-Cross, Brianna Barett, Ipek tezol, and Kanish Baskaran for not only meeting our $150,000 non-profit fundraising goal, but exceeding the goal by writing grants worth a total of $500,000. Most importantly, VFC Intrapreneurs became and invaluable part of our systems planning process. They helped us map our onboarding process, through to the pre-hiring/hiring process, and while positions may be limited, we're excited to be able to extend summer job positions to our cohort of intrapreneurs. Truly a valuable business growth and development opportunity.
