Our company recently initiated the development of a website to enhance customer outreach, and we're interested in collaborating with a student to further the project. The primary goal is to create a user-friendly site that requires minimal maintenance.


This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Exploring various website-building tools along with their pros and cons.
  • Performing a needs assessment to identify the most appropriate platform.
  • Constructing the website, with our guidance in content provision.
  • Offering instruction on website updates and maintenance.
  • Conducting prototype testing with customers and refining concepts based on feedback.
Deliverables

At the project's conclusion, students are expected to showcase:

  • Comprehension of various website platform choices.
  • Selection of the most fitting platform.
  • Creation of a website utilizing the chosen tool.
  • Suggestions for maintaining the website.
  • User testing of the website and enhancements based on feedback.


Final deliverables should include

  • A prototype of the website.
  • A comprehensive project report outlining key decisions they made.
Mentorship

Throughout the project, students will have direct access to us for mentorship. We will offer guidance and support by addressing inquiries related to:

  1. Our existing products and website layout.
  2. Insights into our customer base and industry.
  3. Assistance with decision-making, troubleshooting, or any other challenges the students may face.
