The placement student will write a series of 5-7 artist profiles featuring recipients of the 2022 Edmonton Artists’ Trust Fund (EATF). These profiles will be featured as a special series on Edmonton Community Foundation’s blog that will be published over the course of the summer/fall of 2023.
The placement student will be responsible for researching her interview subjects, crafting, arranging, and conducting interviews with her sources and using her interviews to write the 350-400-word stories. She will also be expected to source artwork to run with each piece.
The placement student will receive one-on-one mentorship through each step of the publication process for a total of 80 hours.
