The main goal of this project is to create a comprehensive social media strategy for Keep6ix.org. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Researching the current social media landscape and identifying potential platforms and strategies for Keep6ix.org.


- Developing a social media strategy that outlines the goals, objectives, and target audience for Keep6ix.org.


- Creating content for Keep6ix.org's social media channels.


- Developing a plan for monitoring and responding to user engagement on social media.


- Optimizing the social media strategy based on user feedback and analytics.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- Understanding of the current social media landscape and potential platforms and strategies for Keep6ix.org.

Keep6ix is a not-for-profit Toronto-based organization, serving the Greater Toronto Area, that was founded in 2017 to make a meaningful difference in the lives of at-risk youth from racialized communities who have been impacted by the criminal justice system.

Keep6ix offers various programs and services to help youth avoid going down a disempowering path toward incarceration. We also support and advocate for those who are currently incarcerated and provide post-release support so that they can overcome systematic barriers and stigma and begin to reintegrate positively into the community.
