Project Goal

Help Blueflow Marketing Agency expand into a new market (e.g., a different city, region, or industry). Students will act as strategy consultants and develop a market entry plan that identifies new business opportunities and outlines a clear path for growth.

What You’ll Do (Tasks):

  1. Analyze Blueflow’s Strengths
  • What makes Blueflow different from other marketing agencies?
  • What services or campaigns have been most successful?
  1. Research the New Market
  • Choose a target market: a city (e.g., Vancouver), a sector (e.g., real estate, e-commerce), or a niche (e.g., beauty brands).
  • What do businesses in that market need from a marketing agency?
  • What trends are popular (e.g., influencer marketing, TikTok ads)?
  1. Define the Target Client
  • What type of business is Blueflow trying to attract?
  • What problems do those clients have that Blueflow can solve?
  1. Create a Unique Value Proposition
  • Why should those clients choose Blueflow?
  • What message or story would grab their attention?
  1. Identify Channels to Reach Clients
  • Where should Blueflow promote itself? (LinkedIn, trade shows, cold outreach, paid ads)
  • Suggest 2–3 effective marketing tactics for client outreach.
  1. Study the Competition
  • Who else is offering similar marketing services in the new market?
  • What do they do well and where is there room for Blueflow to stand out?
  1. Build a Partner Strategy
  • Are there local collaborators (e.g., web developers, influencers, design studios) that Blueflow could work with?
  1. Create a Simple Pricing or Package Plan
  • Suggest 1–2 service packages that would appeal to businesses in the new market.
  • How can pricing be competitive but profitable?
