Details

The Federation of Canadian Music Festivals (FCMF) seeks 1-2 individuals with digital business and marketing skills to enhance its marketing and communication efforts. Experience in video creation and Artificial Intelligence is an asset.

Students will analyze recent stakeholder survey data and current social media and promotional materials then apply what is learned to develop a comprehensive promotional strategy across various platforms that aligns with FCMF's vision and sector. The goal is to increase FCMF's visibility among potential participants, alumni, partner connections, and donors. This will, in turn, foster stronger community ties and enhance fundraising efforts.

Students will apply their classroom knowledge of marketing principles, design, and digital communication strategies to prepare promotional resources to fill identified gaps in current resources. This project allows students to gain practical experience in content creation, audience engagement, and strategic communication within the arts sector.

Rural-Based Community-Focused

At the Federation of Canadian Music Festivals, we envision a Canadian arts and culture landscape enriched by the success and contribution of young musicians who are given every opportunity to reach their full potential. To that end, FCMF discovers, supports, and develops young musicians from across Canada through its festival system.

By coordinating the music festival movement and working with local and provincial festivals, the FCMF brings a national performance platform to young musicians in communities across the nation.

At FCMF, we value quality, fairness, opportunity, community, and networking.
