PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Cochrane, Alberta is nestled at the base of the foothills and the Rocky Mountains which breeds endless physical activity opportunities. The Cochrane Sport Network is a place for local sport, physical activity, and recreation organizations to connect, network and work together to deliver a diverse range of sport and recreation activities. The energy and excitement of the Cochrane Sport Network is high however there is a current need to build structure within the area of communication and membership. Meaningful Movement Solutions has been hired to create a platform that will keep the Cochrane Sport Network connected and engaged.

DESIRED OUTCOME OF PROJECT:

Using design thinking, utilize existing Microsoft 365 and Weebly tools to help Sport 4 Life Cochrane engage the network, drive collaboration, stay up-to-date, and share best practices

FINAL DELIVERABLES:

• Update Cochrane Sport network webpage and functionality
• Create a membership portal for accessing information and for communication
• Create a live calendar for members to add events
• Create an electronic membership application form
• Create member profiles of each of the 25 organizations (ex. https://www.sportcalgary.ca/member-directory) based on the information provided in the application
• Integrate tools using Microsoft 365 to best serve members

• Be available to answer questions or provide support on an ongoing basis
• Remote/virtual working environment
• Opportunity to attend Sport Network Meetings
