Details

Urbaneco Homes is seeking to streamline and enhance its contractor and subcontractor onboarding process. The current system lacks efficiency and thorough vetting, leading to potential delays and quality inconsistencies in projects. The goal of this project is to design a comprehensive onboarding and vetting system that ensures all contractors meet Urbaneco Homes' standards for quality, reliability, and compliance. This system will incorporate a user-friendly interface for data entry and management, automated background checks, and a scoring mechanism to evaluate contractor qualifications. By implementing this system, Urbaneco Homes aims to improve project timelines, maintain high-quality standards, and foster better relationships with contractors. The project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in systems design, user experience, and data management.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a fully functional prototype of the onboarding and vetting system, complete with a user interface, automated vetting processes, and a contractor scoring mechanism. Additionally, a detailed report documenting the system's design, functionality, and implementation plan will be required. The project will culminate in a presentation to Urbaneco Homes' management, showcasing the system's capabilities and benefits.
