We aim to enhance the networking experience at PopIn events by leveraging LinkedIn data to create detailed attendee profiles. The goal is to provide event participants with insights into fellow attendees, facilitating more meaningful connections. This project involves extracting and analyzing LinkedIn data to generate comprehensive profiles that highlight professional backgrounds, skills, and interests. By doing so, we seek to improve the overall engagement and satisfaction of event attendees. The project will require learners to apply their knowledge of data analysis, data privacy considerations, and profile creation techniques. The tasks will include data extraction, data cleaning, and profile generation, all of which are closely related and manageable within the given timeframe.

The goal of this project is to create compelling social media content that effectively communicates these benefits to a broad audience. The content should be engaging, informative, and designed to attract potential collaborators. Learners will apply their knowledge of marketing, social media strategies, and health communication to develop a cohesive content plan. This project will involve researching the health benefits of coffee fruit, understanding the target audience, and creating a variety of social media posts, including text, images, and short videos.

This can be achieved through common site building tools with HTML and Javascript This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

It was a truly enriching experience working with Shabs and the PopIn team. Shabs’ guidance and mentorship throughout the project were invaluable — his clarity, encouragement, and willingness to share industry insights created a positive and growth-focused environment. The project offered a great balance of autonomy and support, allowing me to apply and strengthen my skills in data analysis, visualization, and privacy management while working on real-world challenges.
