Founded in 2018, Pulp Shred is Calgary’s multi award-winning company and the greener alternative for confidential document destruction. In choosing Pulp Shred, you ensure 100% of your shredded paper is commingled, baled, and recycled into new products, thereby supporting circular economy and creating local jobs! We are an innovative, data driven and new age thinking information security, destruction and recycling company. We bring a new way of approaching customers confidentiality requirements without compromising the environment. Our business model is based on the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework and philosophy. To us, it is not a binary choice, i.e. whether to choose our business processes (data security and destruction) over greener practices (contamination removal and recycling) or social commitment (community involvement) – all three are an intrinsic part of our company DNA and value proposition.

PROJECT SCOPE

We have two websites - https://pulpshred.com and https://store.pulpboxes.com/. We intend to redevelop and consolidate these two websites into one main website - https://pulpshred.com.

Our current website, https://pulpshred.com, is custom developed in Java script. Although appealing on the eye, the website is not maintenance and admin friendly. Additionally, we would like the Pulp Shred website to include our e-commerce site as one platform (https://store.pulpboxes.com/). We would like the website to be visually appealing and easy to maintain and update, preferably in WordPress.

We anticipate the majority of existing content to be reused, a fair bit of new content, visuals, and tweaks may be required, however. Plus, new services need to be incorporated along with reorganization of menu.
