The Careers & Experience team at MacEwan University is looking for a team player who is able to provide Riipen support as it relates to community engaged learning projects occurring in a variety of fall 2021 courses.

Community-engaged learning happens when students works with a community partner to apply what they are learning in a course to solve a problem or meet a challenge that organization is facing within a semester-long course.

This will be a 6 week project starting in July and ending in mid August (there is flexibility around how the 80 hours will be distributed over the 6 week period). This project will run concurrently with MacEwanLife project support.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Riipen support for fall classes (community engaged learning projects), and assisting the Experiential Learning Facilitator with:
  1. Creating course project RFPs for community partners
  2. Uploading course project descriptions
  3. Assist responding to community partner and faculty questions
  4. Help onboard community partners onto Riipen

You will be working directly with Laura Sinclair, Community Partnership Developer, Tami Ambury, Experiential Learning Facilitator, and Tiffani Lok, Events and Database Coordinator.
