The Careers & Experience team at MacEwan University is looking for a team player who is able to provide Riipen support as it relates to community engaged learning projects occurring in a variety of fall 2021 courses.
Community-engaged learning happens when students works with a community partner to apply what they are learning in a course to solve a problem or meet a challenge that organization is facing within a semester-long course.
This will be a 6 week project starting in July and ending in mid August (there is flexibility around how the 80 hours will be distributed over the 6 week period). This project will run concurrently with MacEwanLife project support.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Riipen support for fall classes (community engaged learning projects), and assisting the Experiential Learning Facilitator with:
- Creating course project RFPs for community partners
- Uploading course project descriptions
- Assist responding to community partner and faculty questions
- Help onboard community partners onto Riipen
You will be working directly with Laura Sinclair, Community Partnership Developer, Tami Ambury, Experiential Learning Facilitator, and Tiffani Lok, Events and Database Coordinator.
