Help Build a Data Literacy Course for Beginners

NeuroKeep aims to enhance data literacy by developing beginner-level courses on spreadsheet software and introductory statistics. The project involves designing educational content that is both accessible and engaging, targeting learners who are new to understanding and analysis. The student team will be responsible for outlining course objectives, creating lesson materials (like spreadsheets, outlines and even artwork for slides, promotional materials etc.), and ensuring the content is formatted for seamless delivery on an online learning platform. The goal is to equip learners with practical skills in using tools like Excel or Google Sheets, and to introduce them to fundamental statistical concepts. This project provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of educational design and content creation, while contributing to NeuroKeep's mission of promoting data literacy.

Social Media Marketing and Content Creation for Neuroscience and Stats

We want to grow our social media and marketing presence in a big way. This will involve creating various types of social media content (copy for posts, artwork, videos, stories, reels, etc) If you’re generally interested in science, technology, and education and have even a little bit of artistic talent and creativity, we’d love to hear from you!

The goal is to create a suite of creative and artistic content that can make complex statistical concepts more accessible and enjoyable for students. This project involves designing a variety of digital media, including images, videos, GIFs, and potentially 3D models, to visually represent statistical ideas and principles. Additionally, students will create unique content for an introductory stats course that will be delivered via adaptive educational software. The focus is on producing content that is both educational, visually appealing, and helps students learn stats concepts in the most impactful way. The project is an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of statistics and digital media design, combining technical skills with creativity to produce high-quality educational materials.
