As part of this initiative, students will conduct background research on the existing web application, identify core features suitable for mobile adaptation, and contribute to the creation of a comprehensive screen-by-screen UX/UI prototype using Figma. The Figma file is currently in development and will include key functionalities, notably a dedicated section for On Demand Services . The design must reflect a modern, minimalist aesthetic with intuitive navigation, ensuring compatibility across multiple devices and browsers. This project provides students with a practical opportunity to apply their knowledge in software design, user experience research, and usability testing—ensuring that the prototype aligns with Woulibx’s design standards and user expectations.

On-Demand Services Integration for Woulib Expert
Woulib Expert Inc. is expanding its sustainable mobility and social innovation platform by integrating a marketplace for on-demand services. The goal is to develop a module that seamlessly connects users, freelancers, and businesses, enhancing the existing application and website. This project involves creating a secure and efficient matchmaking system that optimizes the interaction between service providers and clients. The module should be user-friendly, ensuring accessibility for all users while maintaining high security standards. The project will require the application of classroom knowledge in software development, user interface design, and cybersecurity to create a robust and reliable system. The team will focus on integrating this module into the existing Woulib Expert platform, ensuring it aligns with the company's vision of sustainable and innovative solutions.

Strategic Market Analysis for On-Demand Service Platforms
WoulibX, a Quebec-based technology company, is venturing into the on-demand services sector by integrating a new feature into its existing mobility ecosystem. The project aims to conduct a comprehensive strategic market study to understand the competitive landscape and user expectations in both the Canadian and global markets. By analyzing key players like Fiverr, TaskRabbit, Handy, and Upwork, the project will identify successful business models and map competitors based on pricing, commissions, user experience, and client acquisition strategies. Additionally, field research will be conducted to gather qualitative and quantitative data from potential users, including freelancers and clients. The ultimate goal is to provide WoulibX with actionable insights to develop a viable, differentiated, and locally adapted service model that aligns with their focus on geolocation, local economy, and sustainability.
