Leslie is a global digital marketing and publishing executive, having spearheaded digital at The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Global Television and a number of global brands such as Vodafone Romania and McCann Erickson Romania. Leslie also spent 2 years as Director of Marketing at HomeStars after which she launched her own media network celebrating Powerful women called Alpha Woman. Presently, Leslie is helping build Canada's fastest-growing Healthcare media network, the Health Insider, where she looks forward to making a difference in the health of all Canadians. Leslie is fluent in both French and English, is an avid skier and mother to her amazing 18 year old son.

Marketing Data Project for Canadian Healthcare Media Company
Launched in late September 2022, The Health Insider is a Canadian healthcare media network that (a fully-owned subsidiary of RSRS) looks for the insider's perspective to find the answers to the important questions Health Consumers are asking. See https://thehealthinsider.ca/ for more information. The Health Insider is seeking to work on a Capstone project for Marketing data analysis and optimization. At the core of what we are building at The Health Insider is data. via our parent company RSRS, we are fortunate to have an existing database filled with hundreds of thousands of data points that we plan to leverage for email marketing and other purposes. The data, however, is not currently in a format that enables it to be visualized, segmented and extracted by the marketing team.

They put much less faith in their doctors today than in any time in prior history, and are demanding options for treatment that go beyond simply a prescription for one more daily pill. There's a sense that there is more out there worthy of consideration, both within provincial medical systems, but also outside of it. A world of options exist - ranging from the dutifully tested to the anecdotal to the downright irresponsible, and with the added dimensions of DNA testing, genome sequencing, personal data collection and more, the Health Consumer is becoming more informed, enlightened and exposed to a myriad of choices - some of are here and others still yet to come.
