Hello! I'm Andrew, a Computer Engineering student attending Queen's University. I am passionate in understanding how FPGA design, electronics, and programming languages intertwine to create the devices we know and love in the real-world. I am very exited to enhance my strengths in data collection, programming, and design with the collaborative learning experiences presented here at Riipen!

Accelerometer Compilation App
January 2025 - March 2025
Currently collaborating with a group of 3 Queen’s students to design a website that processes and and visualizes walking and jumping data from CSV (Comma-Separated Value) files. Used Numpy and h5py to store a collection of 30 data samples into an organized HDF5 file. Utilized MatplotLib and Pre-Processing techniques to extract and display clean iterations of all data samples. Currently designing a logistic regression model to classify ‘walking’ and ‘jumping’ data and a graphical interface via PyQt5.
Fluid Reservoir and Radiator Research for a Modified Jeep Wrangler
September 2024 - March 2025
Employed skills in Microsoft Excel to analyze and compare reservoir and radiator cost and performance data to optimize a Jeep Wrangler's customized HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system. Compiled and presented research to 80+ students to maintain communication across all sub teams.
911 Operator Testing Device
January 2024 - April 2024
https://github.com/breadsnicks/perfexGuided a group of 5 Queen's students into designing a website (JavaScript and HTML) and an Arduino device that grades and analyzes a candidate's ability to multitask under stressful conditions. Communicated with the Toronto Police Department's Operations Supervisor to ensure that the device aligned with design specifications, resulting in a product deemed a runner up for Queen's University's Mason Cup. Organized team deadlines by utilizing work breakdown structures on Youtrack and used proficiency in Microsoft word and PPT to present evaluation matrices, risk mitigation logs, and graphs that quantified the device's safety and functionality.
